One of the most premier institutes of medical education, King George’s Medical College (KGMC), Lucknow, awarded Dr Aruna Saxena her MD (Obs & Gynae) in 1995. Prior to this she had completed her MBBS from the same institute. KGMC now known as KGMU (King George’s Medical University) celebrated its centenary in 2011, a year after Dr Aruna celebrated her silver jubilee of joining this prestigious institution.
In almost two decades of her post MD experience, she spent more than 50% of her time training and practicing in the field of ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology). During her stint in Fudan Vision Medical center in Shanghai China, where she resided for three years, she was exposed to the international clientele with language, racial and geographical diversity.
To further nurture her passion in the field of In vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Embryology, she trained in Embryology at National University of Singapore, which boasts of conducting more than 1000 IVF/ICSI cycles per year with amazing results. She has also been trained in IVF at various places in India & abroad, NUS (Singapore), Fudan Vision Medical centre, Shanghai, KMC (Manipal), CFC (Chennai) & AFMC (Pune), to name a few.
