He's MD DGO in Mumbai's KEM Hospital. Reproduction Techniques Assisted (ART) expert. He is also the Mumbai Fertility Clinic's director and Mumbai IVF Hub.

In the past 17 years, Dr. Jatin P Shah has been actively working with his team of specialist gynecologists, endoscopists and embryologists, supporting more than 5,000 IVF & ICSI patients. In comparison, numerous births can be traced to them by simple methods such as insemination intrauterine. In 2009 alone, 540 births by IVF & ICSI were delivered in the clinic, 166 of which were twin infants, with 706 babies in all.

The unmistakable difference of Dr. Jatin P Shah is that they can execute all of the IVF functions, including MRI, oocyte regeneration, IVF embryology and embryo delivery hand in hand. He was given the nickname of the IVF Commando because of his ability to make difficulties in IVF and ICSI systems in different laboratories.

In 2002, 167 continuing IVF and ICSI babies were born by our center out of 484 rounds, which resulted in 34.5% taking home baby rates of major ART procedures.

The Mumbai Fertility Clinic & IVF Center (MFC) was established in April, 1994 with a view to offering IVF, ICSI, IUI, Oocyte donation, Sperm donation, Embryo donation, Gestational surrogacy and Social Egg freezing for the prevention & treatment of infertility. The centre performs advanced IVF & ICSI procedures in a comfortable, relaxed and friendly atmosphere yet implementing the most advanced technology and laboratory facilities on par with the best in the world.

MFC is based in South Mumbai, easily accessible from the airports (both International and domestic) as well as the western and central railway terminuses. We have flexible timings and appointment schedules to suit patients from all Mumbai, India or abroad. Furthermore, to accommodate working women, the clinic operates from 7am until 5.30 pm on all weekdays and from 7am until 2pm on Saturdays. The clinic remains open on Sundays until 4 pm for patients who wish to take their injections at the clinic or require any nursing care.
