Jindal IVF Centre One of the Best Surrogacy Centre in Chandigarh. We are the pioneers in IVF and ART in Chandigarh, with an experience of over 27 years. The centre was established by Dr. Umesh Jindal, who after extensive training in both India and the United States established the Gynae and Fertility research centre in December 1989 at the Chandigarh Medical Centre (CMC-17 Chandigarh)founded by the late Dr. P.N. Chhuttani the former Director of PGI The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research , Chandigarh. IVF was started at this center in 1995.The first IVF baby was born in 1996. The current success rate with IVF at the center is up to 40-50 %. IntraCytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) was introduced in 2001. The first ICSI baby was born in 2002. In 2004 the center was shifted to a new building at 3050- sector 20-D. A state of ART, IVF lab was constructed with all the latest equipment. In March 2014 A new OPD was added in SCO 21, sector 20 D, (Opposite to nursing Home building).
Dr. Umesh N Jindal is a dynamic and progressive leader with over 3 decades of experience in the field of infertility. She was the first to start specialized infertility services in Chandigarh including Assisted Reproduction Techniques such as IUI, IVF and ICSI. She has expertise in IVF, In Vitro Fertilization, Embryo Freezing, Sperm Banking, Endoscopy, Infertility Evaluation/ treatment and IUI. She attained her MBBS degree from Government Medical College & Rajendra Hospital under Punjabi University, Patiala, in 1978. Dr. Umesh N Jindal was a brilliant student so she continues to pursue MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from PGIMER, Chandigarh, India in 1981. She is a highly valued member of Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI). She was the founder of the Chandigarh Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society and Greater Chandigarh Chapter of IFS. She stood as the vice president of IFS form 2013 to 2015 and has held important offices in regional and national societies. Teaching and training is her passion, therefore she attends various workshops and conferences around the world. Dr. Jindal also served as a senior resident and as an Assistant Professor in the WHO (CCR program).
